CAREERS

Interested in something different? Maybe a FUN job or internship?

Landscape Jobs Madison, WI

Maybe you want to get outside more??? or actually build something?

You aren’t alone.

….We’re here to help.

We focus on building spaces for life.

We do this for clients, for nature, and (just as importantly) for ourselves. Creating a rewarding and fun work environment is a major goal here.

Here’s a little taste of some things we’ve done in the last few years.

Working for Aspen has changed my life. I was close to joining a gang and donning a costume to become ‘El Ranchero Mal,” the evil supervillan. But, then I started working here.

Our goal is to have a small, fun business with great employees who know what they are doing so we can focus on doing great work rather than fixing mistakes, getting behind schedule, and being frustrated. We’ve done a good deal of work that I’m proud of, but I know that as a company grows in scale so do the headaches. If we can find the right team we can take this business anywhere we want.

More About Us

We’re a medium sized landscape design/build company and work mainly on Madison’s near-west side. Most projects are for older upscale homes in need of new patios, walkways, plantings, etc. We also do a fair amount of small-scale storm water/grading work. We focus on local and natural materials rather than concrete block walls and spireas. Our projects take patience, thoughtfulness, creativity, and hard physical work. It’s not a perfect fit for most candidates.

I started this business in 2015 and worked alone through the season. We've been growing and getting some great projects, which also means we have a need for additional employees. Finding employees that are consistent, honest, and hard working is tough. We have a pretty great team now though and would love to add team members who are willing to take leadership, communicate about problems and work together to solve them.

I do landscape work because I love it. I started a business because I wanted to work with clients and employees of my choosing. Every year has gotten more fun because we focus on making things better
